Blushing Bride
This pair of Percheron horses wait patiently for release after working as a team to pull a wagon. These marvelous draft horses are born dark and grow lighter with age. Patient and steadfast I knew I had to paint them. This work is in mixed water-media on gesso-prepared board. Well varnished and placed in a rustic wood frame.
